His Royal Highness Prince Doctor Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Muizzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, on 11th August morning inaugurated the Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA's 15th Mahrajan Haflut Takharruj or Convocation Festival. With the theme 'Sustainable Development of Agri-Halal Business,' the ceremony was held at UNISSA's Sinaut Campus in Tutong District. Upon arrival, His Royal Highness as Pro-Chancellor of UNISSA was greeted by Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr. Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd. Salleh, Minister of Education, and Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, the Rector of UNISSA.
The reading of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar.

Research by students from the Halalan Thayyiban Research Centre were among those highlighted in the exhibition, including the Morphological, Meristic and Molecular Identification Project for Brunei Marine and Freshwater Fish and Shellfish.
The exhibition included freshwater fish breeding and Rice Production model based on the Urban Agriculture concept, aquaponics mini project and Irrigation Management based on Weather Data.
His Royal Highness then inaugurated UNISSA's Faculty of Halal Science and Sustainable Tourism.
His Royal Highness launched new books published by UNISSA.
The Mahrajan Haflut Takharuj was among the activities lined up for UNISSA's Haflut Takharruj, which will be held on 21st of August.
